Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Software Engineering Intern with a background in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) to join our development team for a 3–4-month internship. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world software development projects, collaborating with senior engineers to design, develop, and test software applications. This internship will provide valuable exposure to various aspects of software development and give you the opportunity to enhance your coding and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coding and Development: Assist in writing and maintaining code for new features, applications, or tools under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Bug Fixing & Debugging: Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs in existing applications.
- Software Testing: Write and execute unit tests and assist in QA processes to ensure software quality.
- Documentation: Assist in documenting code, technical specifications, and user manuals for applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the software development team to implement features and deliver software on time.
- Research & Learning: Keep up with industry trends and technologies, providing recommendations to improve the codebase or development practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT).
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks is a plus.
- A passion for coding and problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with the development team.
